Patrick T. Quirk

As the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Dean Quirk oversees the internal administration and operation of the academic program in the law school. His office coordinates adjunct faculty teaching assignments and faculty evaluations. It oversees the academic calendar and the schedule of classes and is involved in the administration of the examination process during the examination period. Dean Quirk has significant academic law school experience including teaching at the Bond University Faculty of Law in Queensland, and at the Catholic University of America's Columbus School of Law, before he joined the faculty at Ave Maria School of Law in 2003. In 2001, he and Professor Jay Forder edited one of the world's first e-commerce textbooks for John Wiley & Sons and developed a number of courses in this area. His scholarship and teaching interests center on commercial law, including Personal Property Securities and International Business.
