Roberta  Studwell

Associate Dean for Law Library and Information Services and Associate Professor

Dean Studwell, has held positions at a variety of traditional and non-traditional law schools, including serving as Associate Dean for Library and Information Services and Professor at the Charlotte School of Law in North Carolina, immediately prior to joining Ave Maria. Her role as an administrator and faculty member include development of technology resources, planning, policy development, teaching, writing, and mentoring.  Dean Studwell taught classes in Advanced Legal Research, Lawyering Process/Legal Writing, and Negotiations before joining the faculty at Ave Maria. She has also published extensively, including contributing legal research articles to the Michigan Bar Journal, ABA section magazines, and to the American Association of Law Libraries Spectrum magazine. She has served as the editor of the American Association of Libraries' Briefs in Law Librarianship series and writes in the area of privacy, technology, and management in academic law libraries.
