Monique McCarthy, Assistant Dean of Admissions
Ms. McCarthy has eight years of cumulative law school admissions, communications, and student services experience. Prior to joining the Law School, she served as the Assistant Director of Admissions and Recruiting at the University of St. Thomas School of Law-Minneapolis, where she was responsible for all recruiting activities, counseling, and enrollment of students. She is a leader in the Law School Diversity Professionals, a national organization of law school staff members. Ms. McCarthy is the recipient of the University of St. Thomas School of Law’s Black Law Students Association Faculty/Staff Member of the Year Award in 2009. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Communications from Cleveland State University, a Master of Public Administration from Cleveland State University, Levin College of Urban Affairs, and a Juris Doctor from Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. |

Eamon Ladewski, Admissions Counselor
Mr. Ladewski joined the Office of Admissions in December 2008. As an admissions counselor, Mr. Ladewski plays an important role in assisting prospective students throughout the admissions process. Before his arrival at Ave Maria School of Law, Eamon interned for the United States House of Representatives Resources Committee in addition to serving as an admissions counselor at Ave Maria University. Mr. Ladewski graduated from Ave Maria University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics.” |

Donna Schmidt, Admissions Counselor for Operations
Ms. Schmidt is responsible for managing the admissions databases and all communication with prospective students. Prior to joining Ave Maria School of Law in June 2009, Ms. Schmidt was a teacher at Saint Joseph Middle School and Spiritus Sanctus Academy. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Christendon College in Virginia where she had the opportunity to volunteer with the office of admissions. Ms. Schmidt has also volunteered for the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary and Guadalupe Partners in Detroit, Michigan. |
