Reciprocity is a process whereby AMSL graduates may utilize the career services resources of a law school in their geographic area. Most law schools throughout the country employ some type of reciprocity policy to handle these types of requests. Alumni interested in investigating whether or not a law school has a Reciprocity Policy are encouraged to take the following steps:
• Research the career services office at the law school(s) located in the city or state where you are seeking employment.
• Review the law school’s reciprocity policy and requirements.
• Most law schools require reciprocity requests to come from your law school’s Career Services Office on your behalf. To seek a reciprocity request from Career Services, please complete the attached form and return to firstname.lastname@example.org
