Campus Security Report

Annual Security and Fire Report

The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) is a federal law that requires colleges and Universities to disclose annual information about campus crime. Each year Ave Maria School of Law files a report with the United States Department of Education stating the incidences of crime on campus. The following tables reflect the number of incidents for the crimes of homicide, manslaughter, forcible and non-forcible sex offenses, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, larceny, motor vehicle theft, and arson that occurred on or near campus for the previous three calendar years. Also included in the tables are arrests and disciplinary referrals for drug law violations, liquor violations, weapon violations, and bias-related crimes. For a definition of the above crimes see Crime Definitions. The table also includes fire statistics for each building on campus. Each faculty member, student and employee receives an email on the school’s crime and fire statistics each fall. Questions regarding the Campus Crime and Fire Statistics may be directed to the Clery Compliance Officer at (239) 687-5345
