Jennifer Lucas-Ross is responsible for all administrative functions of the Career Services and Alumni Affairs Office. Ms. Lucas-Ross offers individualized counseling services to students and alumni. She is also responsible for outreach to alumni and employers, coordinating the law school’s recruitment programs, providing professional development tools to students and alumni, and producing public interest opportunities for students. Ms. Lucas-Ross is a licensed attorney in Florida. Ms. Lucas-Ross serves on the Board of the Lee County Legal Aid Society. Ms. Lucas-Ross is a member of local bar associations and several national organizations including the National Association for Legal Professionals and the American Bar Association. Ms. Lucas-Ross represents the law school on the Florida Pro Bono Coordinators Association and the Continuing Legal Education Committee of the Florida Bar.
Prior to joining Ave Maria School of Law, Ms. Lucas-Ross worked as a sole practitioner concentrating on civil litigation. Her professional background includes experience in management, academic support and teaching. Ms. Lucas-Ross earned her J.D. from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center where she also served as Managing Editor, and then Editor-in-Chief of the international law journal. She completed her undergraduate studies at LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA, where she earned a degree in English.
