Criminal Justice Society (CJS)

The Ave Maria School of Law Criminal Justice Society (CJS) is a student organization that honors, respects, and supports the Constitution of the United States of America, and dedicates itself to protecting and safeguarding the freedoms which the Constitution embodies.

The purpose of the Ave Maria School of Law Criminal Justice Society is to promote service to the public good through participation in the American criminal justice system.  In order to achieve this goal, the Society seeks to foster a greater understanding of the criminal justice system among its members and the entire law school community, to encourage students to receive advice and direction from practitioners and professors. The Society aspires to the responsibility in the study, teaching, and practice of criminal law.
