Biography
Professor Margaret Antonino is an Assistant Professor of Legal Analysis, Writing, and Research at Ave Maria School of Law, where she teaches Advanced Legal Analysis, Common Law Synthesis, and Advanced Essay Writing.
Professor Antonino earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Ave Maria School of Law in 2015 after receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Financial Economics, cum laude, from the University of Maine at Orono in 2012.
Since entering the legal profession, Professor Antonino has practiced extensively in civil litigation and insurance defense matters. She previously served as a Partner at a multi-state civil defense firm representing hospitals, physicians, property owners, and construction companies throughout New York, New Jersey, and Florida.
Her practice involved complex litigation matters relating to professional liability, construction disputes, premises liability, insurance defense, and property-related claims. Through this work, Professor Antonino developed substantial experience in litigation strategy, motion practice, legal analysis, and persuasive legal writing.
At Ave Maria School of Law, Professor Antonino focuses on developing students’ analytical reasoning, legal writing, and doctrinal synthesis skills, helping prepare students for both law school examinations and legal practice.
