From Naples to Nationwide: 77 Ave Maria Law Alumni Recognized Across the Country
Ave Maria School of Law alumni are making their mark across the legal profession and across the country.
In 2026, 77 Ave Maria Law graduates earned recognition from Super Lawyers, with 25 alumni selected to Super Lawyers lists and another 52 selected to Rising Stars lists in jurisdictions throughout the United States.
The breadth of the recognition tells a larger story about the growing reach of the Ave Maria Law alumni community.
From Florida to California, New York to Texas, Michigan to Wisconsin and communities in between, this year’s honorees are practicing in law firms and legal markets across the country. Their work spans a wide range of practice areas and reflects the many different paths Ave Maria Law graduates have taken in the profession.
The Super Lawyers and Rising Stars distinctions are earned through a multiphase selection process that includes peer nominations and evaluations along with independent research. Self-nominations are not accepted, and selection is not tied to advertising or the purchase of products or services.
The distinction is also selective. No more than 5% of attorneys in each state are selected to a Super Lawyers list.
Rising Stars uses the same selection process but recognizes attorneys earlier in their careers. Candidates must be either 40 years old or younger or have been in practice for 10 years or less, and no more than 2.5% of attorneys in each state are selected.
For Ave Maria Law, seeing alumni represented in both groups is particularly meaningful. The 25 alumni selected to Super Lawyers lists reflect graduates who have established themselves in the profession, while the 52 alumni selected to Rising Stars lists point to another generation of Ave Maria Law alumni already earning recognition among their peers.
Together, they represent something larger than a single year’s recognition.
Students come to Ave Maria Law from across the country to study within a community grounded in faith, reason, service and the pursuit of professional excellence. After graduation, they carry that education into law firms, courtrooms and communities nationwide.
Their practices differ. Their careers have taken them in different directions. And their professional accomplishments belong to each of them.
But Ave Maria Law is proud to be part of their stories.
We congratulate all 77 Ave Maria Law alumni selected to 2026 Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists and celebrate the work they are doing in communities across the country.
