AVE MARIA LAW SCHOOL HIGHEST RANKED CATHOLIC LAW SCHOOL IN FLORIDA

U.S. News' Recently Released Rankings Show Ave Maria Law as Fourth Highest Jump in the Country

AVE MARIA SCHOOL OF LAW |  NAPLES, FL | April 9, 2024

U.S. News and World Report, the preeminent publication for ranking institutions of higher education, has released its 2024 law school rankings. Naples, Florida’s only law school, Ave Maria School of Law, rose approximately 20 spots and is now, out of approximately 200 law schools in the United States, ranked 161, tied with University of Illinois-Chicago and University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth.

“Hard work, attracting solid applicants, and having a student population that is attracted to our mission allows us to produce graduates who employers are recognizing as having excellent legal training and who also bring to the workplace the fruits of a legal education rooted in the Catholic intellectual tradition,” stated Ave Maria School of Law C.E.O. and Dean, John M. Czarnetzky. “Thanks to the hard work of our faculty, staff, students, and with the help of our patroness, the Blessed Mother, we continue to improve both our internal growth measurements and our external rankings,” continued Czarnetzky. “U.S. News’ updated rankings attests to our hard work.”

Designed for prospective students looking to advance their education post-college, the Best Graduate Schools rankings evaluate programs in a variety of disciplines, including business, education, engineering, law, medicine, and nursing. By collecting graduate school data annually, U.S. News is able to present the latest enrollment numbers, job placement rates, faculty statistics, and other essential quality indicators that help prospective students make informed decisions.

Ave Maria School of Law is one of 11 law schools in Florida and is ranked 6th out of those 11 law schools. Of all the law schools ranked by U.S. News, Ave Maria School of Law is the only Catholic law school in the United States to carry the prestigious Cardinal Newman Society recognition for its commitment to a faithful Catholic education.
